…I’m stronger than that.
Fuuuuuu… That person, whomever they are, I have so much respect for them. And so thankful they stuck around to share their story. Hopefully it will give strength to someone else and we’ll have one more awesome person continue to live in this world.
What’s sad is that some religious person will just dismiss that person’s lack of faith as a rebellion against god because they went through some horrendous times. I have had 1/1,000 of bad times compared to this person, and had someone dismiss my athiesm due to the fact “I was angry at god for taking away someone I loved” EHHH! Wrong. My tingling questioning phase started way before I lost some loved ones. The reason I went back to atheism was due to the lack of proof, and the acknowledgement that I only wanted to believe in something because everyone else did, and it was vaguely comforting. Not to mention that this so called omnipotent all knowing all powerful god allows CHILDREN to suffer, starve, and die. Yet will grant musicians, sports players, and “my computer got fixed! Thank you Jesus” prayers…
